Safe Community Wood Buffalo is staffed by two Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructors (CPST-I's) able to offer a variety of support and services including:

• Seat Test Tuesday: drop in to our office to check out our wall of demo car seats, chat with a tech, and try seats in your vehicle to make sure they fit before you purchase. No seats are for sale. "The BEST seat is one that fits your vehicle, fits your child, and fits your budget"
• Buckle Up Wednesday: book an appointment for a car seat check and ride with confidence that your seat is installed and used properly. Book for prenatal right up to booster usage!
• Information sessions: available online as a work at your own pace course, or in person by booking, learn more about seats and transporting children. Get the basics to help you safely transport children.
• Prenatal car seat info: partnering with local agencies to offer dedicated prenatal information on seat installation and proper use including harnessing baby with our car seat demo dolls.
• Car seat technician training: certification through the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada email info@scwb.ca
• The Gift of Safety Program: is your agency interested in becoming a referral partner or are you interested in sponsoring our One Seat Safer initiative? The Gift of Safety provides new, appropriate car seat(s) to families or individuals in need on a referral basis. Please email for more information on the program.
