This brand new event has a tri-fold purpose!  First of all, Child Passenger Safety Week this year is September 21st-26th.  Safe Community Wood Buffalo has planned many activities throughout the week and Buckled Up For Bucks will be the grand finale.  Secondly, a giant sized car seat automatically draws a crowd, especially when there is an adult buckeld in increasing opportunities to share chid passenger safety messages.  An adult buckled in for 24hrs we hope will accomplish the third task of this event which is to raise money for Safe Community Wood Buffalo/Buckle Up Wood Buffalo.

Mikayla and Lesley will be buckled up in the Benny (aka adult sized car seat) for 24 HOURS, overnight and through whatever weather is thrown their way!

September 25th 1pm until September 26th 1pm.

The first 4 hours they will be at the Fort McMurray Golf Club for the United Way Tournament. The Benny will then move to Stoney Creek Village for the remainder of the 24 hours. Support their CRAZY commitment by donating! Stay tuned for other CPS week activities and announcements.
